Prof. Rama Rao taught me about 48 years ago. He was a soft spoken, kind teacher who taught such that everyone in the class not only understood but found the subject interesting.
He was one of the teachers who left a lasting impression in our formative years, and the education we received enables us to reach our best levels in life.
As a teacher he was not doing as a DUTY but he was committed to educate students as “KARTAVYA”. We all students were enjoying his lectures.
One incident I can narrate which is still in memory even after so many years is that I had a problem of understanding one lesson, I went to his residence, at about 7.00 p.m. He welcomed and started from beginning explained everything. When I left it was almost 9.30 p.m.
This is what committement. Rarely we find teachers like Prof. Ramarao. Till today I remember few teachers, guiding people on GURU POORNIMA. He is one of them.
One more thing which I really admire him is that 7 years back. I had an opportunity of meeting him in Bangalore when I touched his feet, to my astonishment; he said oh, RT, still he was remembering me. It was a great moment for me.
With his blessings I am doing very well in my enterprise. I am in the line of Training Foundry & Forging Industry personnel. Organising Conferences, International Industry visits and Exhibition.
I am blessed to be writing my memories of an excellent teacher.

Dr. A V Ramarao 
Prof A V Ramarao, is a great teacher. His passion towards teaching is such that; we were in final year i.e in 1987. Prof Ramarao had some health issues and was on bed rest advice by Doctor. He use record the topics in tape recorder and he use to take class and play the tape recorder and explain the topics so nicely. This is the dedication Prof Ramarao had. Humble Pranaam to Prof Ramarao.
