Story from Dr. S V. Paranjpe

I think Professor Ramarao joined the VRCE from Raipur Engineering College when I was in 3rd year. He taught us Physical Metallurgy especially Fe-C diagram. I was his favourite student or so I thought. He was very lucid in explaining the subject. My memories of him are very vivid in my mind,  a sharp, quiet and knowledgeable teacher. Revered by most students. I used to contact him often after I came back to Nagpur after finishing my studies at IIT-Bombay in 1985.  I am lucky to have him as my teacher and pay my respects.
